There are no set commission rates, each Realtor chooses the commission they will charge when listing a property for sale. Buyer's agents are most often paid by the listing agent to incentivize them to show the property. This means that generally, there is no direct cost to a buyer to use the services of a Vancouver Realtor. When listing a property for sale, I charge a commission rate of 7% of the first $100,000 and 2.5% of the remainder of the Sale Price. Just shy of half of this is typically paid to the buyer's agent.
